Activities that engage the sense of sight, including toys with bright colors, contrasting patterns, and objects that encourage visual tracking.
Introduction to different sounds, musical instruments, and singing. Toddlers may engage in activities that involve rhythm and simple musical games.
Opportunities for toddlers to touch and feel a wide variety of textures through playdough, sensory bins, sand play, and tactile toys.
Activities that promote the development of fine motor skils, such as stacking blocks, threading beads, using crayons or markers, and puzzles.
Activities that encourage larger muscle movement, such as climbing, jumping, running, and balancing. This could include soft play equipment, tunnels, and obstacle courses.
